Who Created God?Comment
The Bible is clear that God has always been there. Before the existence of the earth and life as we know it, God was already there, there are many references to this in the Bible but you need to go no further than the first 4 words: "In the beginning God..."
The question is tricky because it sneaks in the false assumption that God must've come from somewhere. The answer is that the question does not actually make much sense. It is like asking, "What does blue smell like?" Blue is not in the category of things that have a smell, so the question itself is flawed. In the same way, God is not in the category of things that are created, God is uncreated - that can be hard for our small human brains to understand fully!
How do we know this? Well the Bible tells us and we can trust that, but also everything has a beginning, we know that everything that exists came from somewhere, you don’t get something from nothing. We live in a world where lots of things clearly exist, something or someone must’ve caused this to come about. We believe that God created the world, and us in it, and for a reason!
