Explore new horizons
test
Four packages are offered to your school and are available in residential, all day and regular afternoon formats. Within each package,
programs are customized to meet the specific objectives of your school.
Get out of the classroom and into the exciting outdoors
Escape and enjoy a rural adventure
Come to Teen Ranch and escape the classroom to experience our unique rural community atmosphere. Challenging and adventurous activities
provide an ideal and fun environment for developing interdependence and interpersonal skills and strengthening relationships amongst the
students. We have 2 day, 3 day and 4 day residential packages to suit all your needs.
Launch into learning in the
great outdoors
Achieve curriculum outcomes in a unique learning environment
An exciting dimension of Teen Ranch is our Expand option. Our site becomes a unique outdoor learning environment, naturally lending
itself to the achievement of PDHPE curriculum outcomes. Students can expand their knowledge and skills while participating in outdoor
activities. Residential living adds value and significance to the learning experience. We offer 1 night, 2 night and 3 night residential
packages. Day excursions can also be arranged.
Reach new heights in knowledge and skill
Develop specialized skills
Of particular interest to local schools is our Excel package. Students come to Teen Ranch for a morning or afternoon each week over a 5
or 10 week period. A sequenced training program, developing their knowledge and skills, gives students the opportunity to excel in a
specialised activity area. Whether it is Horse riding or the Rope-related activities, the Excel package provides a great opportunity
to compliment school based learning and may be of particular value to extra curricular programs such as the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme.
Equipping today's youth for tommorrow's challenges
Leadership and interpersonal
skill development
Many schools find great value in taking specific groups of students away on day or residential excursions to intentionally develop
particular skills. Peer support programs, leadership development, extension programs for gifted and talented students and year group
development sessions are all run successfully at Teen Ranch.
The challenges of our outdoor activities can be integrated with school-run
sessions to best achieve your goals. Let us help you make your extension training an experience to remember!
Love, respect, honesty, humility, integrity, courage, hope
As a non-denominational Christian organisation, all Teen Ranch programs are designed to develop students in body, mind and spirit. Many
in our society are recognizing a lack of consistent social and moral values amongst Australian young people. At Teen Ranch, we are
passionate about sharing the good news of Jesus to everyone who attends and helping them explore the implications of this good news
for individuals and society as a whole. We integrate these Christian Discovery times into each of the options mentioned above. We seek
to do this in a meaningful way that is sensitive to the background of guests with the hope that they will be able to explore the
claims of Jesus for themselves.
