Holiday 'Roundups'

During the holidays, Teen Ranch ignites in a
flurry of activity--this is Roundups!

Since Teen Ranch was first established over 40 years ago, we have run camps for young people during the school holidays, known as "Roundups". Many children who now attend the camps are sons and daughters of parents who remember attending Teen Ranch when they were teenagers.

Ages 10 to 17

Every school holiday Teen Ranch runs camps for two age groups of children: Juniors can come from the ages of 10 to 13, and Senior Camp is for those aged 13 to 17. Usually each camp runs for a week with campers arriving at the Ranch on Sunday afternoon and leaving after lunch the following Saturday.

Full-on Fun!

During the week they are able to experience archery, horseriding, canoeing, Low ropes course, High ropes course, Abseiling, Rock climbing, Giant swing, pool games/swimming, horsemanship, and a whole range of sports from volleyball and tennis to cricket and basketball. In general, campers participate in two activity sessions during the day as well as having some free time and organised sport. Also included in the day's program is a time of Christian Discovery where they sing some fun Gospel songs and hear a short talk from the Bible by one of our leaders. More fun and games are had in the evening with night hikes, indoor games, and "Storm the Castle" all big favourites. Those coming to camp are also able to enjoy theme nights, which have included "Cartoon Characters", "Beach" and "The Oscars", and campers are able to come up with your most imaginative outfit and have loads of fun!

Your Children are in Good Hands

All activities are fully supervised by the Teen Ranch staff who are trained and experienced in their various specialised areas. The staff also supervise any free time, when campers can enjoy a range of different sports. There is a qualified lifeguard on duty at any time when the pool is open. At night the children sleep in dorms of up to 12, with one leader supervising each room.

What Not to Bring

Please do not bring any items of value (jewellery, walkmans, expensive cameras), as it is very easy to damage or lose things on camp. Our policy regarding camper mobile phones is outlined in the confirmation letter you will receive after booking. Please note that the Ranch has a no alcohol and no smoking policy.
