About Roundups

Ages 10 - 17

Young people from all over Sydney, the Macarthur area and NSW come to Teen Ranch for their school holiday camp. Teen Ranch runs camps for two age groups of children.

The cost for all Roundups is $447. Juniors can come from the ages of 10 - 13, and Seniors is for those aged 13 - 17. Each holiday camp runs for 6 days with campers arriving at the Ranch on Sunday morning and leaving the following Friday evening. Dates for upcoming roundups are available here. There is a 5% discount available for returning campers who bring along a friend who has never been on a Roundup before, or if another sibling comes to camp over the same holiday period.

School Holiday Activities

During the week campers are able to experience a full range of our fun and exciting activities and facilities.

Make new friends at Roundups

This includes archery, canoeing, horse riding, rock climbing, abseiling, high ropes course, giant swing, swimming and lots more. There is also a whole range of sports from volleyball and tennis to cricket and basketball. In general, campers participate in two activity sessions during the day as well as having some free time and organised sport.

Also included in the day's programme is a time called Connect. Juniors will sing some fun Gospel songs and hear a short talk from one of our staff that is focussed on the Bible. Seniors will also listen to a talk and be encouraged to discuss the topics that are raised.

More fun and games are had in the evening with different night activities. The Night Hike and Campfire, Mission Impossible and Indoor Games are all firm favourites. Campers also enjoy theme nights, when they are able to wear their most imaginative outfits for dinner and have loads of fun. Themes have included "Hollywood", "The Olympics" and "The Circus".

Your children are in good hands

All activities are fully supervised by the Teen Ranch staff who are trained and experienced in their various specialised areas. The staff also supervise any free time, when campers can enjoy a range of different sports and get to know the staff and other campers.

There is a qualified lifeguard on duty at any time when the pool is open. At night, campers sleep in dorms of up to 11, with one leader supervising each room. Our staff actively help all campers to integrate and make new friends to make sure their camp experience is a positive and memorable one!

What to Bring

Please download our list of things each camper should and should not bring.

Have a great time with friends at Roundups

Please note that campers should not bring any items of value, as it is very easy to damage or lose things on camp. Teen Ranch will not be held responsible for any loss of, or damage to personal property.

Camp Expectations

To help ensure that all campers and staff have a great roundup, we do have some simple rules that are outlined to campers at the introductory meeting at the start of the week. Essentially these are to respect fellow campers, respect the staff and respect the property. We ask that campers do not bring their mobile phones with them. Teen Ranch has a strict no-alcohol, no-drugs and no-smoking policy. If campers are unable to follow these rules they may ultimately be asked to leave the camp early.
